Establishment of a Commissioner for Older People in Wales who will: Promote awareness of the interests of older people in Wales Encourage good practice in the treatment of older people in Wales Review the effect on older people in Wales of the discharge of or failure to discharge functions by prescribed persons Take on individual cases and support individuals in making a complaint Undertake research and publish information and guidance.
