Renews the temporary Northern Ireland-specific provisions currently contained in Part VII of the Terrorism Act 2000.  Without this legislation these provisions would have expired in February 2006.  Apart from some specified provisions which are no longer required, this Act continues Part VII in force until 31 July 2007, unless the provisions are extended for up to one further year thereafter.  The Act also extends the Attorney General's discretion to certify cases out of the non-jury trial system known as 'Diplock Coiurts' to all offences contained in Schedule 9 of the 2000 Act and makes provision about the eventual repeal of the Part VII provisions.
