Publication Scheme:

Under the Act, all public authorities are required to adopt and maintain a Publication Scheme. The Cabinet Office operates the publication scheme on behalf of the Office of the Leader of the House of Commons and has been approved by the Information Commissioner.

The aim of the Scheme is to:

• promote awareness of the information already available to members of the public 
• where possible provide an easy method of accessing that information
• set out the classes of information available provide details of any charges for retrieving such information
